Crape Myrtle - cherry colored ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) Crape Myrtle - 3 colors in one... the red isn't blooming yet ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) At the end of that bed (facing south), there's the area around the water company's flush out valve. "water bed" with Cannas along the fence ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) The Crinums are there along with the "rogue wave" petunias and some Yarrow. I love it. Thanks. Nice lookin gardens. And like, stratsmom, I love the Crepe Myrtle. I have planted bout 7 of them and hopefully this year I should get some good blooms. Last year blooms were mild.
Front yard is looking very, very pretty. My Crepe Myrtles are finally covered in blooms and dropping them everywhere. I didn't know Crinums came in pink, those are really pretty.
Gosh you should be so proud of your gardens Cheryl. Now that I've seen all three sets of photographs I'm in awe of all the wonderful plants and flowers you have.
Deanna... I bet every home in the county has at least one Crepe Myrtle. Between the roads in-between the two nearby "towns" there is nothing but Crepes. White, Pink, and Red. Sure makes the drive a little less boring. Barb... sure hope your Crepes grow up and produce lovely flowers for you. Toni... I got these Crinum's from one of my aunts. I have seen some white ones in other people's yards. I've been tempted to stop and ask if they want to trade... or just give me some of theirs. :-D Thanks Eileen... and everyone... it sure is nice being able to have a place to grow "pretties".
Gorgeous! Most of those beautiful plants aren't available here. Oh what I would do for a Crepe Myrtle... they are gorgeous!!
