This is a pot I planted it in the spring...

I was tickled to see it take off, and become exactly the way I'd envisioned it when I first planted that assortment!

But here's an added bonus. A sweet little bird thought it was just the right place to build her cozy little nest! :-D

I am very honored that she chose MY plant in which to nurture her little family :stew1:

That bird must be the envy of her neighbors--such a lovely landscape around her little home!
Ronni, you not only have a green thumb and a great eye for plant combinations, but you also have some of the most interesting garden art I've seen! Is that a Fu dog?

That is very cool. Anyone know what kind of bird would do this?

Edit: Oh and maybe it's not even a bird.. It could be a ground critter like a mouse.

She obviously loved what you'd done with your planter Ronni. What a lovely arrangement you have in the pot. Neither wonder she thought it was a prime property!!

Nice planting. I had a bird make a nest in one of my plants. I did my best not to get water on it.. didn't always work. I don't think the eggs ever hatched. :'(

    How nice is that!
Do you know what sort of bird made this nest?

    The plants look nice, BTW.

Your planter looks beautiful, Ronni! That little bird must have felt safe with the Fu Dog around to guard it :stew2:
