I just love how the bench grew this year. I put my hubby on the bench to show you how tall the Coleus it getting. I will put this in the greenhouse for the winter. The hubby doesn't know that yet.

Doesn't it look great this year????

At this rate next spring you will need a crane to get it out of the greenhouse.

By spring you won't see the bench. Lovely both the bench and the hubby.

That is such a wonderful idea - That I at once decided to design it in my 3D CAD software! I mean, we here almost always place containers on either side of a bench. Yet this one is a part twin container and part bench!

Really a smashing idea - Thanks for sharing! I too will now construct one for myself! :D

Now Guys, The hubby is, to die for. I'm telling you.........You should see the color looking from the living room door.

I had a coleus one time that, sat on a stool and went up 3 feet then, curved down by it's own weight, and back up 5 feet.

I love the color so much that I think I will cut it down by half for the Winter and start new ones with the cuttings for my other benches.

I have a white bench, way in the 'up yard'. I also have this one above in green with the deer and fawn. I just can't get them to look good together. I may have to move the bench, for it just doesn't look good with the critters.

I just know I am seeing Red at the moment. :D

WOW Barb those coleus are gorgeous and your husband sets them off rather nicely. :-D I can only grow coleus as house plants here but would love to have some the colour of yours.

Thank you all. I have enjoyed this bench greatly this year. I should probably take clippings today sometime, now that I think of it.
