Just Curious if anyone can tell me what kind of house plant this is I was told it was a purple flowering Jew but cant seem to find any pics that resemble it. It has little white flower pods way down almost on the stalk of the plant itself under the leaves. The pods almost are the shape of a Venus fly trap plant but it opened and its got little white flowers in it. Well posted a pic with it but its not showing so guess No one will be able to see it and help me out with what it is .
Doesn't look like the plant that I know of as a Wandering Jew... reminds me of my Red Sister Cordyline. Any chance of getting a bigger/closer photo?

Rhoeo ( photo / image / picture from chocolate's Garden ) Here is a picture of one of my rhoeo/moses in basket,this one is called tricolour,green and gold, was sold during the Olympic games, it has Australias colours,green and gold. The flower sheaths are quite large but the flowers inside are sometimes hard to see.Mine is growing outside in garden in dappled shade, it has multiplied well just like the smaller ones. Because it is unusual to see the large one I keep one in a pot to take to garden clubs etc,never fails to interest people.The small common ones don't seem to have a flower. It is a relative of wandering jew. I use the smaller pink and green one as an edging...love the colour! Can be seen in the middle[sort of] of this picture. Didnt realize this plant could go outside also does it survive threw the winter months and come back in the spring?
Chocolate is the envy of this northern gardener. She lives in a tropical climate, the Gold Coast of Australia. Aren't her outdoor plants gorgeous!
