I sat outside this morning and waited and finally was able to get a few pictures of the hummingbirds. Unfortunately most of the were too blurry to resize for posting. Hope you enjoy these that sat still for me.

Hummingbirds, five if you look close! ( photo / image / picture from dooley's Garden )

There are five hummingbirds in the picture. 3 on top of the fence, one on the feeder and one to the left of the feeder on the fence. I think there may be one to the right on the fence but I'm not really sure.

By accident, I seem to have become the neighborhood bird restaurant. Free food, come and get it!

One year in Colorado, I saw what had to be 20 at a time. Awesome to watch!
Anyhow Dooley... they know a good thing when they see it! "come on ya'll... Dooley just put out some more of the good stuff!" :D

Ours are leaving to head your way! Went 2 days without seeing any and yesterday I was seeing them almost every 10 minutes. These are ones that are flying through and heading south. This time of year I mix their food a little sweeter to give them the extra energy they need for the long flights!

It is fun to just sit and watch them. Sometimes when the feeders are empty they will buzz my head and chitter at me to fill them. They sure move fast though.

They are great to have around. Those that have them are very lucky.
