Very nice. I only have some purple things blooming at the moment. You are doing fine with Fall flowers. I love it. Gives me some good ideas.

Hi Barb,..those purple Symphyotrichum novi-belgii,'Michelmas Daisy',..are blooms i look forward to every year as they start to bloom in September and keep doing so up to the first heavy frost.

Hi Eileen,..the picture below was taken eight days ago,..it will give you some idea as to the overall view,..as you know the garden is well closed in so our storm of 50mph never bothered anything,..lost a few rose petals that's all :D .

Breathtaking Philip. Isn't it great that we've actually had weather this year that has helped our gardens to bloom well for us? Makes a change doesn't it?

What a wonderful splash of colours you have! I love the tigridia but when I tried them they flowered once and completely disappeared :(

Amazing how even a few days of good weather can help our gardens isn't it.

Hi Karin,..this was my first season with the Tigridia so i planted the bulbs in containers in case they were dwarfed by my taller plants,..they were slow to start then suddenly got leggy and had to be supported,..however they picked up and thrived,..they have the very same behavior as the Day Lily.

Hi Cheryl,..the seasons don't have a big change here,..its colder for sure but then even in winter it can be mild and sunny,..you can have sun,..wind and rain in one day and sometimes a little hail,..and that is summer lol.
