Got away from birds today, whales.

    Went out to see some whales today as they are resident here for the summer months. Very hard to get those perfect pictures that everybody wants. They just come up for a breath and are gone. By the time you get them in the viewer, they are not there anymore.

    I think you did a great job managing to capture them as clearly as you did. I know when I tried to get pictures of dolphins I found it very difficult to get any pictures of them at all.

    I wish I could remember the specifics, but one of my sailing brothers figured out how long and far a whale will go before resurfacing... well... approximately. He's been able to get a few good photos.
    I think you did well or "did whale". :D

    Well captured,..i could almost hear the water ripple behind the Whale.
