Ive been wanting my bathroom repainted since we moved in Spring '12. So yesterday, about 2 hours after waking up, I just decided to tackle it! One of my sisters had decorated it her way when she was living here, but I didnt really like it. She had a 70s theme going with green walls, black and white checked floor and shower curtain with an old-time radio motif (it even had a radio built in, though the reception was spotty). I wanted an ocean theme. Cliche, I know, but I like the ocean. I couldnt get a full pic of the room because its toooo small And its not completely done yet anyways haha Heres the color my sister painted the walls. For some odd reason, when I bought them, there were 12 in the package (I counted!). When I opened the package, I spilled some. After I got them on the curtain, one had disappeared! What the heck?? I havent been able to find it since, and I looked all over the floor :/ I cant decide if I want to keep these or get another style that I saw that I might like better. Agh, decisions decisions! The small conch I bought while in the Bahamas from some kids on the beach. The bigger conch I bought at Goodwill lol I wont use all the candle holders cause theres nowhere near enough space. Thinking about adding shelves somewhere. Probably on the wall across from the toilet, as its the only wall with enough space. Oh boy! I'm loving this already. I'd have every room in the house decorated with a nautical theme if I could. Wait... I almost do! The bathroom however, is still decorated as my mom had it, with butterflies. Which is okay, cause I do love me some butterflies. Anyhow... back to you. I totally love the blue you picked out. Green is my least favorite color - except for leaves, grass, money - but that's it. I've seen those seashell shower curtain hooks and almost bought them to have "when" I get around to redoing the bath. What's the other style you found that you like so much? And I absolutely totally LOVE the the sign with the sand dollars and "shells in your pocket" sign. I may just have to make one of those for myself. Looking good Bip! Very nice ! That green makes my eyes water. Like your colors better. For that missing shower hook just double back the last one and go through two holes. No one will ever know you missed one.
