It has tiny spikes running down the sides of each leaf. ( photo / image / picture from Ladystark's Garden ) Big one and little ones. Eyelash-like spikes arranged in circles. I bought these little cactuses from ikea (2-3"), but I can't seem to find a name for them. The one with the tall big cactus and baby cactuses has a little stem growing out of the mama cactus, is that normal? These are probably bog-standard cacti, but I'm a gardening newbie! Thanks in advanced! Also, will they flower and will they stay small forever?

Welcome to here Ladystark. Glad to meet you. The top one looks like a small barrel cactus. I have some of those. Sometimes they get bigger, but they have never bloomed for me. The only cactus that blooms for me is my Christmas cactus. I have several kinds, including an outdoor cholla cactus that never has bloomed yet in nearly 20 years.
The first one is a barrel cactus. They grow wild in Arizona. I think the second might be a cholla. They grow quite big in the wild and the needles are very hard to pull if you get stuck with one. I don't think the middle one is a cactus but may be a succulent of some kind. dooley
cholla cactus in spreader ( photo / image / picture from AAnightowl's Garden ) This is my cholla cactus. The spines are very sharp and the segments are similar in size and shape to a Tootsey roll. The flowers will be red IF it ever blooms. http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=cho ... ORM=HDRSC2 The second photo looks exactly like mine, though it has pinkish blossoms. The parent of mine had dark red blossoms.
The first one that you posted, we have two of those as well! We got them when we visited the Grand Canyon. They haven't flowered for us yet, but they are pretty!
