Our leaves are almost all on the ground. Not much color this year. The sugar maple turned yellow and brown and then dropped. But the seed helicopters are still on it!

Oh Netty, that makes me all over nostalgic for autumn in upstate NY. We don't get much in the way of fall color here--just subtle changes.
Do me a favor and post photo of the knee-deep snow later so I'll get over this nostalgia thing!

I sure could use some of that squash. I haven't seen any for sale around here yet, except pumpkins of all sorts.

Beautiful fall foliage. We never had the color down east like we usually do. Not enough early frosts. However the beech are a pretty copper. The maple leaves are all on the ground now. I certainly am not looking forward to cold and snow!

Netty's World is gorgeous! Those would make awesome postcards or calendar photos.

Stunning foto's, Netty. That cornucopia foto was pretty spectacular. I like the fall colours.
The very last foto I liked for a number of reason.
    Nice spread, miss.

Netty don't you just love autumn with all its rich colours? From your photographs I can see that you have the ideal setting for long walks well wrapped up against the chillier days.

Thank you all for the kind words.
Capt - I noticed there were more 'helicopters' than usual on the trees this year.
Marlingardener, Dooley, Chrisle, Cherylad, Sjoerd, and Eileen - The fall colors we get here are the only thing that makes fall bearable for me. I am much more a spring and summer girl!
    Toni - That's a lot of drooling ! :)
The squash and pumpkins are what was picked from the garden at work. It was all used to decorate the resort for Thanksgiving. The crop being harvested in the photo is soybeans, and it is usually done early to mid October.
The last photo was also taken at work on the walking trails. It's my favorite too :)

Oh Wow, Netty! I didn't see this before. I just caught the pic of the month on the side of the screen and clicked on it to see a bigger picture and here you had a whole bunch of them posted. Those were beautiful.

Love your pics Netty! Your images are similar to what I am seeing these days. We have had beautiful colors this year. I just haven't had my camera handy to snap pics.
    Well done!
