Since we could be in the pasture, barn, or any one of the gardens instead of the house, we installed a doorbell that can be heard wherever we are.

Our guests seem to enjoy ringing our doorbell!

I thought that was a dinner or fire bell. (too many westerns) But then again I'm a an easterner and city slicker. We hear bells all the time. Most of which we ignore. :)

    Pretty fancy thing, MG.
I use a bell in the garden too, but yours is much fancier. mine has a nice, pure, "Himalayan" tone that can be heard from a great distance.

If I would hear your triangle ring, I would immediately feel hungry for some reason. hahaha.

At my house in New Mexico... we had a big metal bell from a train. I think people came over just to ring it! I bet I have a photo of it somewhere.
    I like the triangle!

I am tired of spending money on doorbells that don't work, I found a door mat that says...."Door bell broken, yell Ding Dong real loud"

Nice nice... but in my small apt... I even hear the neighbors' door screetching. When I moved in back in 2007, I swore it was a ghost door opening next to my ears.
Of course I tried suggesting greasing up the hinges...but SHE said HE likes to hear when the door opens.
    Weird.
Well, my parents could use one. There is a doorbell, been broken for years.
    But... they don't entertain much!
