Netty, your snow is very pretty, very scenic, and very cold. I'll stick with our Texas November weather, although we did have to turn on the heat this morning to take the chill off the air.
Thanks for reminding me why we moved south!

Brrrrr. I still have 2 more weeks of watching oak leaves fall. S*** is not on the radar.
Looks nice, and it will soon be here. :-( If we can re-route the jet stream Toni can have my share. :)

Definitely NOT what I expected this morning! The sun is out and it has taken all day to melt this snowfall ... there are still a few patches around the yard. I miss my gardens already :(
Jerry, around here the Oak leaves fall all winter long. When I go back to work in the spring, they are STILL falling! The last Oak leaves don't fall off the tree until the trees bud up again.

You must have lots of red oaks. I cut down the last red oak in the front yard two years ago. Now, all the white oaks drop 98% of their leaves by Thanksgiving. For the first time in several years the oaks had acorns. The chipmunks had a field day. There is not an acorn to be had. The squirrels have to settle for sunflower seeds rejected by birds as they search for just the right seed from the bird feeder.

I have to admit that your photographs are lovely Netty but I hope the white stuff stays away from here for a good while longer. We have had a few severe frosts but now it's back to high winds and lots of rain. I would like to have a white Christmas though.

Netty, Just going into the Winter here, your snow is pretty. Show me it again in about March and I might say it is ugly. It's all about your frame of mind. :D
