    Oh my stars, that is absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for the photos--I've never seen an orchid tree before, and wouldn't have known what I was missing. :-D

    Yes, they bloom all winter here in FL. and unlike other Orchids these are very fragrant.

    Pretty much my favorite tree (tropical, i mean).
    Used to see lots of these in parks in Taiwan and I just loved them.
    Tried to grow some from seeds...but just don't do well here.

    And also that Bombax ceiba with huge red flowers.
