We are supposed to have another couple of freezes this coming weekend so I figured I had better take photos while there was something out there to photograph.

The Knockout rose is in the middle of it's "thank goodness the weather is cooler" blooming cycle.

I love Pineapple Sage, there are two plants here and one across the path. Next year there will be at least one more out front and a couple in the back garden and maybe a couple in the back side garden and maybe just one more......somewhere.

The Dallas Red Lantana isn't putting out much in the cooler weather, but since I missed it's summer blooming I appreciate that it put on another show when I could get out in the garden to enjoy it.

The pink/reddish Marguerite Daisy didn't survive the summer but the yellow is really putting on a show before the freeze takes it down.

And my Passionflower vine bloomed like crazy while I was in the hospital and recuperating but has decided to welcome me back to the garden with more blooms...there are about 5 more buds that I hope will bloom before the freeze next weekend.

Oh that is soooo nice to see everything so alive. Beautiful. Everything here is just about dead. This weekend we will cut back everything and that will finish it off for the year.

How refreshing it is to see what you have. Thanks.

Just lovely Toni. Like Barb everything here is now dormant and waiting for spring to arrive. It's so good to see so many flowers in your garden - especially that gorgeous passionflower. :-D

Note to self: Get some Pineapple Sage.

My passion flower still looks good... but no signs of any blooms. I'm pretty sure it's done for the year, especially with the freezing temps coming up.

I took some photos of things blooming just before that last freeze... just in case I never say them again.

Congrats on a few more blooms!

Pineapple Sage shows up at Lowe's with the first load of veggies and herbs each spring, that's where mine came from and about 3 years later they are roughly 4' tall and 3-4' wide.

Your flowers are beautiful, toni. Love the passion flower, it's our state wildflower) :) and the knockout and pineapple sage are gorgeous. Are those metal vases/buckets hanging on the picket fence? What a neat idea.

Nice display of flowers, toni. It's nice to see when everything's grey, green and white around me. :D
