We have been away on a short holiday, on our return, as usual I couldn't wait to check the shadehouse out and this is one of the beauties I saw...isn't she lovely?[even though I have an idea it is a boy] An anthurium called Lime. ( photo / image / picture from chocolate's Garden )
Thankyou everyone... Yes Cherylad you are right, there is another flower with seeds ready to drop and germinate. They look like small corn kernals, male and female on the same flower. I have seedlings from others that have dropped and grown but I don't know yet if they are true to the parent plant...hope they are. They never mature in seed stage here. I am not sure if it due to the plants being hybrids, needing cross pollination, seasonal issues...whatever, but I have never seen one go to seed here. thanks, Chocolate. That was great to see, too.
Oh WOW. Really a nice one. Same here, I never see seeds. It's one of my favorites, as I don't do anything to it (except water it) but still, there's always a few flowers on mine (common red one).
