Who would have thought that piles of chopped wood could look so good?!! The garage, the window box and the maze look great don't they?
Hi Jbest,..it sure took some time and i bet raised a lot of eyebrows. Hi Eileen,..the garage attracted me and some of those look alike huts,..just add some tarp inside and your car would be snug from the elements,..and cheaply.
WOW, I am lucky to get the wood just stacked let alone make some artisticky thing out of it....like jbest...(I am a stay at home mom/wife/gardener)...I don't have time for that. I need to pack lunches, make dinner, pull a weed here and there, pluck a few grapes and tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, broccoli, melons...you know, I just have too many other little things to get done to worry about making an eagle out of my woodpile, like...say, filing my nails or mail..scatter a little scratch grain or water the the fertilizer factory ( I am up to 4 of them now)....busy!
Tee hee Carolyn,..i reckon you don't have much time to spare,..with me its a question of what can i do next to pass the time,..i did take a notion to paint the house inside and out,..slowly,..now its finished i just stand back and smile
Those wood stacks are simply amazing! However, I do think that someone has way too much time on their hands. I especially liked the photo of the stacks that looked like bee skeps, with a lady standing in front of one. Using up one of those piles here in Texas would take years, possibly generations. We barbecue a lot, but burning wood for heat, not so much . . . .
Oh, do show us...new colors or just repainting the same to make it look fresher? new paint always looks so ...well, new. Time to spare...today it took me all of 5 minutes to water and check the 3 flats of seeds I started last week.oh boy...what a time taker upper .
Hi Jane,..i suppose its like some people spending weeks setting up thousands of Christmas lights,..it looks good but i could do far more things that need doing for improvement and not just for show. Hi Carolyn,..oh it was a complete colour change inside and out,..i will post when i get all the shots on one computer.
I wonder how people come up with these kind of ideas? Necessity? Boredom? I love 'em though... gotta show this to my brother.
