Made these from my kitchen floor that got flooded from dishwasher. I just can't throw stuff away. Now I have to paint them. I gave away a least this many.

Donna I would never have thought of using the floor boards to make nest boxes. What a terrific way to recycle them!! :D Now there is somewhere safe for many birds to bring up their families come spring.
    WELL DONE!! :smt041 :smt041

There will be a lot of happy birds when they see Donna's luxury houses. The new tenants will be speechless, you will not hear a peep out of them.

    Jerry

P.S. Great use of the floor, too. :)

Wow Donna! That is remarkable...no, really. That spirit of not just throwing stuff away, and looking first for a use for spoiled things is a trait of a true allotmenteer
:) hahaha. Yes Donna, you've got the qualities of a great gardner.
I think of the folks that I know here and I can't think of anyopne that wouldn't like to have a birdhouse...even if they already have one or two. If I lived close to you I would most certainly pay you for one.

In fact, I do not know why you do not try and sell them. You know, in a boot sale or at a market. Why Donna, you could even make the entrance holes different diameters to attract different kinds of birds.

Yeah, I like those birdhouses alot. Well done.

These are awesome! Way to recycle!

I've been looking for something just like that for my garden! Wish we lived closer.
