    No. They just drove them into the creek to wash them.

    Really demonstrates the changes of the times. Can't imagine anyone even dreaming of using a moving body of water to wash a car. Great photo.

    Lovely vintage! I believe it is from the 1930s. Leave alone the car and a flowing creek to wash... they had a camera to shoot the 'action' at a time when not many people owned cameras! How beautiful! My great grandfather also had a Model T Ford, different from this model. [Pictured]. Old documents-11.jpg I came to know of this from the instruction manual of Model T. Our family had no cameras at all, till my time! Quite unaffordable it was.
