The mailbox flag my son painted…it was the same color as the mailbox and it was hard to see whether the flag was up or down from the front window. I just love how vibrant the color is!

I'm really impressed with the quality of the images from my new camera. I've taken so many photos lol! Nothing of any consequence whatever, no interesting content (well, not to anyone but me) just random things to try out different settings and see how the images compare.

I'm heading to the gym shortly, and then to the grocery store for the weekly shopping, but when I get back, I plan to release the hounds (translation = un-pen the rat dogs from the kitchen where they're put when there's no one to supervise them) and see what I can do with the Action setting on the camera, and maybe the bigger/longer lens.

If I manage anything interesting to anyone but me, I'll post 'em. ;)

I finally broke down and got a smartphone... one of the deciding factors was on the camera. I've been so busy I haven't even played with the camera yet. I am curious to see how it compares to my digital camera.
And please continue to show your new "test" photos... looks like your camera is a "winner". :stew2:

Cheryl, once you get past the learning curve, you're going to LOVE your smartphone, I promise!

    What flavor did you get?

I'm not even sure what part of the bird I'm looking at, but I really got a kick out of seeing that wing unfurled!

This is fun! I might re-post a couple of these at full size, just so you can see how much clarity and sharpness this camera is able to produce. I'm pretty pleased!

Your new camera certainly takes lovely clear and sharp photographs Ronni. Neither wonder you're so pleased with it. That's an impressive feeder you have for your birds by the way. :-D

It's the LG G2. A little bigger than I had thought I wanted, but if I'm gonna try to type/read on a phone... might as well go with something a little larger.
I did take some photos today. Need to make the time to see how they look on the computer screen. And yes... lots of learning to do.
And your bird photos are awesome.

I looked it up. It's a lot like my Samsung Galaxy tablet that I take with me to the gym, only smaller.

And it has a 13 megapixel camera! That's more than my Canon Elph camera has! AND it has image stabilization. :) It's an Android OS too, so I assume you have Swype to text? I loved that feature in the android phone I had before I got my iPhone…I still miss it.

Can't wait to see some photos from it. :stew1:

I'll try to posts some photos soon... they won't be of any pretty flowers...just some tests ones in of things in different lighting situations.
    I miss the flowers. :'(

    Ronni... what's "Swype"?
