It's beautiful! The blooms look very like our white Himalayan poppy.

Now that's a flower I wouldn't throw out of my garden!! :-D Do they grow very tall Kildale? I have some Ladybirds that reach around four to five feet in height.

Hi Eileen, I think that last flower will be about nine inches. Today we have another from the deserts of those warmer places, Oenothera primiveris,Yellow Desert Evening Primrose.

Our Evening primroses look similar to yours Kildale. Mine reached the height of around 3-4 feet last year and had quite a few blooms. I'm hoping they'll come back OK this year despite our awful weather.

We're a bit challenged when it comes to evening primroses. It's a shame, since I like them so much. Thanks for sharing the delicate beauty. :)

I'm loving every minute of these, the fungi the birds and the marine life. I say wow a lot just not out loud.

As you know I love white flowers and these ones would find a place in my garden any day.

We are back to the warmer climes today with Cream Cups Poppy, Platystemon californicus. Enjoy the picture but sure is nicer to be taking the photograph.

I wouldn't have immediately thought this was a poppy but it is very attractive.

I looked around yesterday to see if anything was blooming... not even a wildflower or weed. I'm glad you have these to keep us optimistic. :stew2:
