Happy Tuesday morning. Yesterday turned cold and wet and left me one inch of rain at the house. It got down to near freezing overnight and our temps aren't expected to get out of the 30s today. And there's a 70% chance of more rain. One more day of cold weather and we should be warming up again.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -27°C and sunny. We are warming all the way up to -6°C this afternoon! I'm watching the Canada/USA woman's Olympic hockey game (GO CANADA!) and sipping a hot coffee after my frigid dog walk this morning. I am looking forward to spring more and more each day! Have a great day all :)

Happy Wednesday morning. Got about 3/4 of an inch of the good wet stuff yesterday. Today started off near freezing and overcast. But it's supposed to clear off and nice old sun should warm us up to the mid 50s. We should be getting in the 70s by the weekend. That sounds good to me!

Oh my...I have been away so long...watching four adorable grandchildren four days a week, I am so glad I had an email today that stated there was a reply to an old post I had replied to quite awhile ago. Glad to visit again...now that the two littlest are over a year...it will be easier to get back again. Happy day everyone!

Happy Thursday morning. Woke up to freezing temps and frost. But the sun is out and we should warm up to the 60s today.... and even warmer this morning.
Hoping that everyone in the US's east and southeast are staying safe and warm with all that snow and ice. And also that everyone in the UK battling those floods and winds are safe.

Good Friday morning all, and Happy Valentines Day! It is -8°C and overcast. Picked up a few packages of seeds on sale yesterday and got a package of catgrass. I will plant the catgrass today as the cat has been eating my parlor palm. Maybe some catgrass will keep her out of my plants? Laundry to do today and some cleaning. Have a great day all :)

Happy Friday morning. Was in the low 40s when I checked the thermometer on my way out this morning. And foggy. However, the sun is breaking through and we should get up to the mid 70s today. Yes! Now we're talking "proper" weather for this part of the world. Three day weekend coming up...Think I'll get a truckload of mulch.

Good morning all, starting out in the upper 40's here supposed to be in the 70's most days this weekend and next week maybe even a day at or near 80. Oh, bother, there goes winter

I'll see you all on Monday afternoon, we are going away for the long weekend. Time to recharge the batteries with a couple of days in a hotel with cable and Randy doing the cooking. I have gardening magazines, a tablet for taking notes and all sorts of plans for the front and back gardens to get sorted out....Randy, of course, has to catch up on his nap time.

Got just enough snow to make it slick yesterday. Cars in the ditches-ones going way to fast. to get more today. We have not had a lot 2-3 inches. About every other day. DH took roof rake and got snow off garage.

Happy Saturday morning. Going to be a gorgeous day here... sunshine and temps in the 70s. Headed over to the church to set up for the Mardi Gras dance tonight. Hope it dosn't take too long, I sure don't want to miss the chance to be outside for at least a few hours today. Weeds and cleaning are on the agenda.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -15°C and overcast with light snow falling. A cold day today and an extra cold night tonight, but then we are warming up this week over the freezing mark. This may help to melt some of this white stuff that has filled the yard! Not sure what we are doing today ... I am the only one awake so far. Have a great day all :)

Happy Sunday morning. It's around 65F and I'm sure we'll be in the 70s shortly. Clear skies. Another great day to clean up some flower beds. I decided to work on the front yard yesterday... only have a little bit more to finish. And then it's around to the back. Not sure how much I'll do since I'm totally exhausted (and aching) from working at the Madri Gras dance last night. Huge crowd and everyone was thristy! It was fun being the bartender. The Duck Farm has it's monthly get-together today. I think I'll show up towards the end... just to get some food. Don't think my feet and back could take another long day of standing.
