We keep just shoving into the ever growing snow bank. It's post is actually still in the ground, back about 5 feet & buried in snow. Holy Cow,..you must have nearly three foot of snow there,..its terrible when you see the comparison,..i don't know which i would prefer heavy snowfall or heavy rainfall,..but not floods.
Gosh if you get much more snow the postman is going to need a ladder to get to your mailbox!! Your poor bird feeder seems to have been affected by the snow too as it appears to be at a strange angle. I'm so glad you cut a pathway to it though as the birds need all the help they can get in snowy weather. I hope all your lovely plants and flowers are going to survive their enforced burial. Let's hope you get a slow and steady thaw soon and that you won't have lost too much.
Cayuga Morning...the thaw is coming. We lost almost all of our snow yesterday...About that mailbox though, you'll not need to worry about the snowplow throwing snow hard enough to break your box off.
That's exactly how it looked here yesterday. We were down to paths too, I even had to dig a patch for the dog to go to the bathroom!
