Cool and foggy here this morning. It appears to be another one of those gray, gloomy days. I got an early start on it. Guess I'll try to get some sewing done.

    Have a good day!

Good afternoon all. Winter might make a very short return tonight and tomorrow....the possibility of rain mixed with sleet overnight.... hahahahahaha...like it's actually going to rain here.

I have been sorting through seeds, found some I don't remember when I bought so I have some in water to see if they will germinate. Then sorted through the newer ones to see what I would actually use this year....ended up giving quite a few seeds packets to the local community garden.
Got an email from The Grower's Exchange reminding me that I have earned a $21 credit towards my next purchase and it would be expiring soon. So I placed an order with them for my Patchouli, White Sage, Clary Sage, Calendula and more Joe Pye Weed. Got a pot of veggie stock cooking and have done two loads of laundry.
I think the rest of the day will be spent goofing off.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -17°C with winds feeling more like -27°C. At least the sun is shining. I am grumpy today. Looking at the forecast, I will probably be grumpy tomorrow too, and probably into next week LOL Just let it be spring already!! Have a good day all :)

Happy Wednesday morning. Checked the rain gauge this morning... 2.5 inches of the wet stuff overnight! And with the rain comes colder weather. Today's high will only be around 46F. Shorts & flip-flops yesterday. Today, Jeans and winter coat. Supposed to get down to freezing overnight too. Good ol' Texas weather.
I think I need to go buy some flowers, even if I can't plant them just yet.

Good morning all. As usual the rain went across north central Texas north of me and south of me, I watched the green/yellow/orange blobs on the weather radar scoot right on by, heard some thunder and got NOTHING. Maybe another slight chance coming on Sunday...which means we end the month of February with 3/8ths of an inch.

Only 30 deg right now but with the strong north wind it feels like 17. Should be around 70 by Friday so I will go out and water everything again.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -14°C and overcast. Just discovered there is a snow squall warning in effect! Today is my shopping and errand day so I checked the radar ... I should be able to get everything done between squalls  I should get extra food so I can hibernate until the nice weather gets here. Wake me when spring gets here! Have a great day all :)

Happy Thursday morning. Had a light frost this morning but the clouds are gone and it's beautiful outside... even if the temps won't make it to 60F today.
Had anotaher 1/4 inch of rain yesterday. The ground is so saturated and mushy, which is a good thing, but I was hoping to be able to get mulch this weekend. But I'm afraid of getting my truck stuck or tearing up the ground getting to the back yard.
Oh well...can't have everything, right? :stew2:

Hello sgm, 'bout time you showed up here again. Hopefully the busy-ness was something fun or at least fulfilling. Welcome back.

Good morning all. Didn't get as cold last night as predicted but it was below freezing for most of the night. Into the 50's for the next two days then the weekend will be in the 70's. Saturday we are going to visit some of our old junque places, haven't done that 9 months....then Sunday we start re-modeling the pantry.

Good Friday morning all. Currently -29°C and sunny. Yes, it's really -29°C (-21°F)... the Polar Vortex is above us again. I've HAD it with winter! When out doing my shopping yesterday it seems that EVERYONE feels this way. People are very cranky. Mother Nature must feel sorry for us as we are going all the way up to -2°C (29°F) tomorrow. That should feel almost tropical
    Have a great day all.

Happy Friday morning. Where'd the sun go? It was so gorgeous yesterday! Today is overcast with a slight chance of rain. Temps will go from upper 40s to mid 70s. I'm ready for the weekend... come on 4 o'clock!

    Good morning all.

I've got your sun Cheryl and you can have it back just any ole time....I am so tired of seeing it. No rain for us and we end the month of Feb with 1/2 inch of rain.

Should be in the 70's this weekend but another front moves through on Sunday bringing winter back again for a few days...again with very little rain.
