Oké then guys...gather 'round and warm your hands. Who's bringing the hotdogs? I'll make sure the marshmallows are sorted.

Are you feeling any warmer yet?
Keep an eye on your drapes that they don't ignite. ;)

Stay warm folks....We're going to melt that snow and ice away!

Come on guys...add your flames, bonfires and coals as well--let's get that white stuff melted!

Thanks Sjoerd! I was going to throw another log on but the woodshed doors are frozen shut!
When it stops snowing I will go out and try again.

Wellllllll, it's going to be 84f/29c here today but winter is supposed to give us a glancing blow tomorrow with a chance of sleet and might hang around until sometime Monday morning. The Vortex just isn't strong enough to beat away the heat we have building up already.

Yeah, I 'm thinking at 84f...they aren't needing too much of the fire. We farther north are going to hog that. Thanks Sjoerd. As soon as I can get my Winter Trax back on I'll make another wood run. Netty and Chrisle, I'll be sure to pick up another piece or two for you and spare you the trip.

And I prefer hobo pies. I have a new pie iron that I haven't even seasoned yet. I have a couple cans of pie filling that we can crack open, too.

Thanks for the warm fire Sjoerd!! I am in the polar vortex!!! It is ugly outside. So cold and a biting north wind. It's weird though, this time, the snow is going to the north, and to the south, while we sit in the middle, dry and frozen. BRRR
Definitely NOT the March 1st we hoped for!

Haha polar vortex sounds like something out of a sci-fi movie. Were supposed to get another "storm" starting tonight. Urgh. I was nice earlier today when I took my lunch break, but now the sky is grey, although the temp is a balmy 47º!

I keep thinking about that saying for March ... in like a lion, out like a lamb. I do hope that is the case and we can tame that lion quickly. I've HAD IT with winter!
