The old toy had a run of nine years and 37 thousand clicks, 37723 to be exact. It was showing its age and it was time to replace it with a new one with more bells and whistles. Can you tell I'm excited? There's more Lots of stuff with plenty of buttons I might even learn how to take the lens cap off Click ( photo / image / picture from Jerry Sullivan's Garden ) Jerry
Jerry your expression says it all. The look of delight on your face in the second picture made me smile. Now you do realise that you must practice with that camera every day and that we want to see all the photographs you take - good or bad. Enjoy!! :-D
Eileen--I agree. Jerry has an impish grin on his face in the 2nd photo! Congrats Jerry, hope you have a lot of fun with the new camera.
Congrats on the new toy! Looking forward to seeing lots of great photos from it.... once you get the lens cap off, of course. :-D
The pixel had plenty of potential. Not one but two diodes provided the sensitivity needed to reproduce the photonic information it could receive. The only problem was the darkness. The camera had "clicked" signaling that the diodes would receive some photons and the pixel would 'light up'. Bummer, the first chance it got to show off and all it had was darkness. :-( Wait!!……….Somthing was happening………The lens cap was coming off, LIGHT!! There was going to be light!! Joy oh joy! The pixel would shine after all, Click…….Wait…..A lens cap? That's it? A LENS CAP? Oh #*&%@%. thought the pixel, one of those creative photographers. The pixel could hear a chorus of 19,999,999 million other groans. Hmmm…The photographer was typing something on the computer……the pixel could just make out the text. Jerry you are like a kid on Christmas morning I love your enthusiasm. Thanks for sharing your happy moment with us.
Awesome new camera Jerry. I can't take a decent picture, but my camera does tell me to "remove lens cap" when I try to take a picture if it is on. How many pictures do you keep as opposed to "tossing" when you are sorting through them? Maybe I am not so bad as opposed to expecting too much .
