Cheryl, upper respiratory infections are on the rise around here, my youngest is down with one, you probably should go to the doctor to get on meds before it gets worse.

Good morning all. Nippy at 48 deg and of course the sun is shining...nothing new about that. I think I will take a tour of two local garden centers this afternoon to pickup some compost and soil for the large containers out back. My two orders should be here sometime between tomorrow and next Tuesday too.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -2°C and snowing. My son says it will stop snowing later this morning, when spring officially starts. I hope he is right because it isn't very spring like out there right now! It rained last night and melted some snow but we still have a long way to go! Off to the fracture clinic today with my son. Have a great day all :)

Happy Thursday morning. Looks like it will be another pretty day with temps from mid50s to mid70s. I took a quick walk around the garden yesterday and noticed new growth and new weeds. Time to get the last of the clean up done and lay some mulch so I can start some planting.... hopefully by next weekend. I've got some seedlings that I'll start hardening off and up-pot some others.

Good morning all. I went plant shopping yesterday, surprised? nope didn't this so, today they go into various pots and places in the ground and then photos will be taken.

We might get rain this weekend but again I am not holding my breath waiting on it since it's only a 30% chance. Supposed to be in the 70's today and tomorrow then another cool down for the weekend so it's time for shorts/t-shirt/gloves and trowel and venture into the backyard to see what's what.

Good Friday morning all. Currently -5°C and sunny. It's the first full day of spring and there are birds singing everywhere! They are going to be very unhappy tomorrow ... weatherman calls for winter conditions and 10-15com of snow :(
Off to do my errands and shopping today. Have a great day all :)

Happy Friday morning. Temps will be about the same for today. I"m so ready for the weekend to get here. The grass and weeds are out of control, so that'll be my first order of business... after that... let the fun begin!

Good morning all. A little sore from gardening yesterday but it feels sooooo good to be sore from gardening again.

Today I have plants to fill the tower of metal pots I made last year...going with petunias instead of herbs this time, more color and easier to keep alive in drought conditions.
I have a to-do list for Randy this weekend, not much but things I can't do. The chance of rain for the next 4 days has gone up by 10%...wonder what part of north Texas will be getting wet this time instead of me.

Hey,Netty, you are not required to share your your winter weather! What ever weather you get manages to come down here to me. I really get hit with the nasties. They either come up the Atlantic coast or across from Ontario. Snow coming this week again and we just got 19 cm the other day. All I can do is dream gardening. Oh, by the way, when those hot summer days do finally arrive, now those I will gratefully receive(grin). Have an awesome day!

Happy Friday everyone! 3.15 pm here in Scotland which means the working day is nearly over. The sun was out earlier but no surprise has disappeared again. Please can we just have one sunny weekend?! Hope you all have a lovely weekend whatever the weather :D

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -2°C and snowing. We got about 20cm of fresh, fluffy snow overnight (Chrisle be warned!)
Off to skating this morning with my daughter. Have a great day all :)

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -15°C and sunny. Saw an unknown creature walking down the middle of our road this morning. At first it looked like a chubby little pot bellied pig, but the foot prints looked more cat like. I wish my driveway wasn't so long sometimes (585 ft) ... I could have caught up to it to see what it was! One of my neighbors has a Manx, but I don't think this was it, unless it got really FAT! I may never know. Chrisle, sorry about the snow, I hope you don't get too much fresh stuff. With any luck this is the last one. Have a great day all :)

Happy Saturday.... oops... I mean Sunday morning. :D
It's 60F now and overcast with a good chance of rain later on. Yesterday, even with the clouds, we reach 82F.
I've got housework to do this morning and then it's outside to clean and mulch a bed and hopefully get a few things planted.

Good morning all. 46 this morning maybe into the 50's later this afternoon and very windy so the windchill is in the lower 40's.
Still no rain and the forecast includes the statement of a 30% chance of Isolated showers, I really don't hold out any hope for my garden getting wet today.
