Garage sale season is just getting started here. It has been too cold and windy to enjoy being outdoors, but this weekend, we are finally having some nice sunny, warmer days. People must be cleaning out basements and garages!
    Yesterday, Bob found these things

I love the old Sun Dial! On the base it says "Grow old with me, the best is yet to be". ;)
The circle is just an old weathered wrought iron piece, will probably go on the fence. ?
The bigger Sunflower matches one I already have.
Then, today while we were out running errands, we couldn't resist stopping in our neighborhood at a moving sale. They practically gave the stuff away free!

The watering can is an old one. On the bottom it says "made in Slovakia". It just needed a bit of soap and water, after being in a dirty garage, and it does not leak! I am going to try to get the paint off.
The galvanized bucket has a lid, and will be a perfect garden chore buddy.

I really like the old iron garden art you found and am rather envious of the sundial. I've been looking for an old one myself for years but haven't found one yet. You had a great day for bargains and then to find the bucket and watering can ... well that was the icing on the cake. :-D

Kay, you and Dooley are the garage sale goddesses! I love your finds, and please let us see what you do with each.
Maybe I ought to run the back roads more . . . .

We have a sundial like that one. It's sitting on a table on the back deck. We've have it about ten years now. I'm not sure where we got it but it moved here from Arizona with us.

Cool finds Kay. My favorite is the circular ?whatchamacallit. I love the sundial too. We have one. I gave it to my Mom & dad 30 years ago & upon both parents' deaths, it came back to me. Great message on it, huh? Enjoy your finds!

    You did good, Kay.
I'll bet you already have plans for all the pieces.
