An empty new garden area is always so exciting...the possibilities are endless and the fun is just beginning. Don't forget to take a series of progress photos.
It really doesn't matter what size your garden area is as long as you enjoy it. Your use of the stones ties in nicely with the wall behind and, when your plants flower, they will add a splash of colour that will transform the space.
Thanks! Tomatoes, sweet peppers, coriander, chives, and I need to go look at the envelopes for the rest because I changed my mind while I was planting the seeds. I have a mint in it but I guess I outta move it since mint can be so invasive...? We have limestone EVERYWHERE!!! And I do mean EVERYWHERE!
You know, Poodledoodle, you could even add a dimension to that attractive stone retaining wall that you have for your plant bed--you could stuff some succulents in the cracks, or Dianthus deltoides, some sempervivum or even some saxifrage. Ach meid, there are so many. Just a thought. If you would try doing this, you only have to first press in a tiny bit of soil before pressing in the plants. Anyway...the way it is now looks smashing. Chapeau! Addendum: You could also daub in a purple aubrietia in that right corner. It would spill down over the side. It is a spring bloomer.
