New spider macro-pic

    Found this little Apache Jumping Spider hanging out in the library this morning. He was peering out from the middle of a stack of clean elections booklets. Apparently he takes his voting seriously...

    I cannot believe I looked at yet another picture of a spider. But it is a GREAT shot. Did you use a macro lens? Or a telephoto from 100 yards away? I'da used the telephoto. Hell, I would not have taken the pic.
    I have relatives who look like him.

    Well I can't say spiders are a favourite creature of mine but I can appreciate the photograph. Just so long as he stays on my computer screen that's fine by me.

    It's not spiders exactly that I have a problem with. I live in an area without anything venomous 'tall, so I'm easily intimidated! Does have kinda cute eyes, though.
