I don't have gorgeous yellow peppers like KK, but we do have tomatoes! I was watering this morning and saw at least four; maybe there are more. Our tomatoes are green and the size of a golf ball on steroids, but they are there!
Congrats! And to think, my yippee is only because the ground is almost 50 degrees and I can START planting! lol Enjoy dreaming of your tomatoes soon turning red! Where are the pics?
As soon as our 35 mph wind dies down a bit, I'll get pictures. Right now the tomatoes are on the move!
Blimey my tomatoes are only about an inch high and just forming their first true leaves. Still when you've eaten all you toms mine will be ready for picking.
The wind abated a bit, and my husband who is the photographer in the family, got these shots of our little green tomatoes: April 29--tomato! ( photo / image / picture from marlingardener's Garden ) And here is yet another one: Hurry up and ripen! ( photo / image / picture from marlingardener's Garden ) I was sooooo tempted to paint one of them red . . . .
Oh wow ... so jealous. I can't even get out to my veggie patch to prep the beds yet because it is still so wet and cold. My tomato seedlings are 3 inches tall here in the house!
A big YIPPEE to you Marlingardener and your toms. Mine is a very sad case of major neglect. Split ( photo / image / picture from KK Ng's Garden ) Poor environment ( photo / image / picture from KK Ng's Garden ) I was not able to get to it for quite awhile because of the construction materials and debris. There are 5 plants and only one fruit. Flowers a few but no fruits ... maybe it is the environment. Now I am trying to bring back to a healthy state. If you were to recall, I still have not had any real success with tomatoes and this is my next project which I think I'll have to wait until the renovation is done. Wonder when I can shout yippee for my tomatoes.......
