Fortunately, no one told the roses that!
Gosh those are all lovely specimens Jane. I particularly love the David Austin 'Dark Lady' with it's striking, rich colour. I'm so glad your roses didn't know that Texas was a no rose zone!! Once upon a time I thought I really didn't like roses much but somehow they snuck up and me. I now have a front garden with seven in it and a few more in the back garden. I wouldn't be without them now and am always on the look out for more.

I'm so glad you all are enjoying our roses! Yes, Kiasmum, all are fragrant to some extent. The Rise 'n' Shine is the least fragrant, but one Nagadoches or Belinda's Dream can perfume an entire room. Lady Hillingdon is just like a lady--refined fragrance and you have to be up close to enjoy it.
very nice! I quite growing roses because they don't do well here. It is a constant battle against the dreaded black spot. Now, I just don't have the space to put any in.
Jewell, I am not a master rose gardener (I just don't post pictures of my epic failures!). Kind of you to say so, though. Carolyn, with all that you grow, you don't need roses! Geraniums are just as fine.
