    Some of my beautiful Columbine bloomed yesterday (May 3)! These are ones that are from plants I let go to seed. I like the combinations! I also have dark purple ones getting ready to open :)

    Zone 5. Common lilac "Syringa Vulgaris". 5/10 buds colored up, by 5/12 completely open.

    Eastern Redbud Cercis canadensis. 5/11

    Sorry Jerry! My first tulips opened on May 12th, not sure the cultivar. Also blooming is Narcisse Naine 'Minnow', and Narcisses Trompettes 'Pink Parasol' zone 5a
