as you visit with family and cook out, take a minute to say a quick prayer and a moment of rememberance of all of our veterans both alive and those who have passed on. And especially those who gave all so that we may have the freedoms that we enjoy. Those not in the US, please remember your veterans also. Have an enjoyable Memorial Day!
Thanks Capt for your service. I appreciate it, but i don't think I can fully appreciate it without having done it myself. My dad and 3 of my brothers served, though. Thanks to all who have sacrificed on our behalf for the good of our country.
A big THANKS to veterans and serving service men and women all around the world for working to keep your country safe and free. And good thoughts go to those who are no longer with us. How many retired military members do we have on the forum? Capt. Kirk Desert Rat HANK (Henry Johnson)
I had three brothers, two brother in laws and a husband who served. A BIG thank you to all of them, esp. the one who died while serving.
A sad note to Memorial Day 2014. A friend of mine age 84 who was a Korean War Veteran passed away on Memorial Day.
