Butterflies were everywhere as the guide walked us around the enclosure. He showed us various species and the eggs deposited on the undersides of leaves.

Caterpillars journey from food source to food source. Their coloring helps disguise them from predators.

We have a butterfly farm just like that here Jerry. It's fascinating to watch the insects feeding and flitting around. Some of the eggs and caterpillars are so well disguised that it takes one of the staff to point them out. Many thanks for your photographs - maybe I should visit our Butterfly Farm again soon.

This one is my all time favorite one...I have been to many butterfly houses which are sooo sooo heavenly but this FARM really is right up my alley. Wish I could be there. Did you get any videos of the place?

I did not take my new camera which also takes videos. All the pictures of St Maarten are taken with the old camera. Next time. :)

Oh wow. How very cool! I'd love to visit a butterfly farm! Even though I have such debilitating phobia issues with bugs, butterflies don't bother me at all. I think they're just lovely.
