I can not for the life of me remember the name of that plant and can't find the tag anywhere. But a white plant is appropriate for a milk can. Half milk can ( photo / image / picture from toni's Garden ) I saw this idea in a magazine last year, I had the pot already but didn't find the old looking fencing until earlier this year. I love the milk can idea. I have 2 large ones on my unused front steps covered in moss. The steps are covered and the cans have lids. I could copy you and just set pots with that plant on the top of the cans.....I have some leftover in the greenhouse from last year. The poor plant is very lonely in there... LOL May I copy cat you????

Lobelia comes in hues of blues, from light blue, periwinkle-ish, lavender and on to cobalt blue and pure white.
I love your ideas. I have a top piece of an old milk can stuck into the ground, and I put some sedums in it.
Hmmm? I have an old milk can also and have been wondering what to do with it. I really like what you have done, now that I know I'm not stealing your idea I may do that next year also. I have a cream can that I mounted a mosaic top to for a patio table. I'll have to get a picture of it and post it.
