Didn't think this one will bloom this year since I transplanted it from my old house. It is not looking very healthy but so full of bloom. ( photo / image / picture from Tina's Garden ) Not sure of the name of this one. I bought it from garage sale last year and it bloomed pink last fall. This year it is blue. I just love how this one looks. Garage sale clematis ( photo / image / picture from Tina's Garden ) Full View : Full view of Garage sale clematis ( photo / image / picture from Tina's Garden )
Great success, Tina. That "garage sale clem" is quite lovely. You must be well chuffed with this result.
Both Clematis are very pretty and are certainly putting out lots of blooms for you. It must be a real pleasure to see them every day.
They took them move very well. Obviously they love their new home too. I am sure they will give you lots of blooms. You can even expect another bloom this summer Well done!
Thanks Sjoerd! I am very happy and 'chuffed'. Now only if my 'Montana' does well - I will be really happy. I am sure with the tips you provided, which I have taken into action too, it will get there too. Cherylad : the 'trellis' is actually the ladder that had come with my sons bunk bed. since he doesn't use that anymore, it went to the garden. I love it there too. Thanks all for everything ! I cant tell you how much I learnt from being in this forum.
Those are so pretty! I heard that certain flowers change their color according to the ph of the soil. Are Clematis one of those?
I am really hoping for you and your Montana. It is a long time to wait for the blooms, but that's the way Clems are. Personally, I find the waiting well worth it. The main thing now is for your Montana to become "established".
