Try saying that quickly after a glass of something :D

So,here we are in June, spring is fading into Summer and at the moment everything looks lush(well it ought to with the amount of rain we have had :-? )

I love taking pictures after a rain storm...these poppies were going to be thrown out by a neighbour so I adopted them from him.

The warmer days are kind to the bees and other stranger insects.

Silly neighbour. Imagine throwing out Ladybird Poppies!! I'm so glad you took them.
I like your new arrival (Delosperma peridot) with it's yellow, white and yellow flowers.

Barb,it was because they were so successful in their garden and these were the excess.

Netty, over the years we have swapped several plants and shrubs. When we had our front garden remodelled about 10years ago they had a couple of the more unusual shrubs which are now thriving there so all in all we must be about level pegging.

Eileen, too much of a good thing and they were taking over their border.I think the delosperma is very pretty too-and drought resistant apparently, although I'm not sure that is going to be relevant this year...

    Thanks Cheryl,I hope they are.

Philip,I hadn't thought that far ahead but perhaps might have done a spur-of the-moment collection. Glad you have plenty of bees too.
