I l0ve roses. We planted the two climbing Joseph's Coat roses this spring and I have some red climbing roses along the side fence in the back. I'd have more but they need watered and water is a problem in Texas right now. Your roses are so beautiful. I'm envious. dooley and dr, too
Beautiful roses, Philip. I have always loved roses and have planted and grown them with varying success and failure. My favorite roses are Joseph's Coat. To quote Forest Gump, "They are like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get." dr

I wish my computer screen was a 'scratch and sniff.' I can only imagine the wonderful scent of your beautiful roses but seeing them is almost as good as being able to sniff their fragrance. :-D
Thank you Dooley,..Desert Rat,..and Eileen,..lol i too would love a scratch and sniff screen,..well there you go Dooley,.. yourself and Desert Rat love the Joseph's Coat Rose,..as you can tell i love growing roses despite the problems they develop,..its a constant battle keeping at bay all the problems they have. Thanks Cheryl and Green Fingers,..i think i have 18 rose bushes now,..there were at least six more but i gave them to friends as i had too many of the same rose and not the ones i wanted,..i know members will be shocked hearing good rose bushes were given away,..but i was given a Large Camellia in exchange
Wow Philip! I felt as though I was smelling them through my computer screen! Beautiful! A beautiful camellia for 6 duplicate roses is still a good trade.
Those roses are beautiful! You are very lucky to be able to enjoy them everyday during the warm months
