Every now and then when going on a train journey i purchase a Garden Magazine that has a free packet of seeds,..one supplied a packet of Antirrhinum.'Snapdragon',..they are coming up in several places stronger this year than last and crossbreeding,..another packet contained sweet scented flower seeds,..Musk Mallow/Sweet Alyssum and Cosmos,..all are putting in an appearance. Those delphs are some of my favorite flowers. beautiful they all are, though. Do you ever use the nasturtiums on your salads? they are quite peppery.
Ahh Philip your garden always brings a smile to my face. You have such a wide variety of flowering plants. Free seeds does it for me too and I have many wildflowers around the pond that cost me nothing at all. They all attract bees and look lovely at this time of year - as all of yours do.
Your plants all grow with such abandon! You garden has the appearance of everything just growing with such ease. I am sure you put quite a bit of work into it, but it has the ease of appearing as though it just happened. Beautiful.

I love your garden too! Clematis and Delphiniums are my favorite, but that Crossbreed Antirrhinum is beautiful too!
Your garden always makes so jealous, it is all so beautiful. I love Snapdragons, guess I need to get some seeds next Spring and fill up some spots with them.
Hi Carolyn,..ah yes i often have a chew when pottering about in the garden however i never got around to using them in salads its something i must remember to do,..visitors to the garden are always persuaded to try out the taste,..oh the Delphs are a great flower soooo tall and striking,..i must look around for some other colours to blend in,..from seeds of course . Hi Eileen,..our blooms are well advanced for June,..its hard to believe what has popped open when i check each morning,..now a pond is something i would like alas no room,..unless i do something on the small size,..thinking thinking a new plant from a cutting last summer is Phygelius 'Funfare Orange',..just starting to bloom,..so easy to start from cuttings as well. Philip, You could do a small water feature...like a little fountain spilling down to a tiny pool with a recirculating pump...
Hi Carolyn,..now i am surely thinking in time i will get around to a water feature of some kind,..just now its World Cup Soccer,..and Tennis,..nipping into the garden during half time .

There are so many plants in the garden that weeds seldom get the chance to grow although,..shame shame i found a nettle today,..hiding away in my Hydrangea and it was a big stem,..never spotted it hidden there.
