Has anyone ever tried buckwheat as a cover crop? I've read about it, but I'm worried that planting it in the garden will create more hassle than it's worth, especially when it comes to removing it.
Buckwheat works great,as a cover crop.I use it a couple times a year.Honey bees love it,as well. I highly recommend it.
We haven't used Buckwheat, but we do plant Crimson clover each fall as a cover crop. It seems to enrich the soil well. I wonder if the buckwheat would be better?
