Do you have a favorite spot to sit in the garden?

Jbest, I could take a quick drive out west a few miles and join you.... Wouldn't that be great????

Mary, that's what everyone says. It's like a sidewalk cafe that you want to stop in and grab a bite...and you probably can most of the time...lol

 

I sure do. Its the place where ALL the big garden plans are made, all the world problem solving take place and last, but not least where the social events take place, like tea drinking, chatting and so forth.
A fourth thing is--it where I sometimes just sit and think, listen, smell and can put my mental feet up, if you know what I mean.

Sjoerd--That seating area looks lovely. Tell me, is it at your home or at your lottie?

 

Chuckle....it is the lottie, but I spend more time there than at home during the gardening season.

 

A home away from home.

 

Yes, that's right, Cayuga. In fact, I use the French term, " pied-à-terre" as the name of the place. I even went so far as to have this laser-cut into a piece of shale, which I hang on the front of the little house.


The French term is used as "second home", or "a home away from home", as you said.

Language is difficult sometimes.

 

Looks like a great place to take a nap.

 

Ermmmm.....I have dozed-off a time or two on those sweltering-hot days.

 

It looks very appealing as a nap destination as well as a gardening oasis.
