Need some advice. First time growing toms in a greenhouse. Been using plastic clips to run string across the roof and down to the plants. But with the weight of the toms growing I, m worried it will collapse.

Just wondered how you guys support them.

    Thanks

What kind of greenhouse structure do you have? We have a commercial frame and use the arches and purlins for stringing. You do have purlins in there, right? They add an enormous amount of stability and strength.

Sjoerd, you really do trim off branches and leaves. It seems to work for you. The string that you use to tie the tomatoes, is it twine?
    Beautiful harvest.

Hiya GP-- Yes, it is a soft twine especially for toms.
