That looks great! I tried to grow some a few years back, but it didn't do much.

Donna, if I bring the DVD, will you pop the corn and we'll all have a night of it? I like a bit of butter and salt on mine . . . .

Barb, I try to grow something different every year. I grew popcorn for my GK"s. this year. I wanted them to see how it grew and how we popped corns when I was a kid. I've been looking for a popper from my day, but now they are antigue and very expensive.

Netty, I found it easy to grow. Drying it is the tricky part.

Jane, Don't for get the wine.

    Cheryl & KK, Thanks.

Donna... if you have a deep cast iron pot or skillet, you can pop them in that. Just add some oil to the bottom.

Cheryl, I do and that is how it will get popped. I really wanted the antique popper.

I always wanted to grow that, for it's beauty in the ears, and it's practicality...tell me..are the stalks pretty too? Pics welcome! :)

Growergirl, The stalks look like regular corn, but not as tall. You have to let the ears dry on the stalks. So stalks are gone now that I have picked it all. What you see in picture came from 8 stalks.
