Hi I'm just curious which houseplants you have. I have a graphed cactus(pink), Variegated Aloe Vera, kohlanchoe. Asian Lilies that I'm forcing this year, Crown of Thorns, Ornamental Pepper, zipper plant, miniature snapdragons that I am overwintering, Some cuttings for a trailing plant of unknown linage,
That's a nice start! I have about 250 different kinds, so won't try to list them here. Kalanchoes are some of my favs though!
I have two Peace lilies (one with pups), a couple of Holiday cacti, a pot full of Aloe Vera, a Pitcher plant, a Jasmine, a Devil's Ivy, and lastly a Clivia Lily.
A fickle ficus that found a place she likes so she kept her clothes on! A huge ornamental bambooo(not really bamboo at all) 2 norfolk pines, wanderong Jew,arrow plants, an old rubber boot from my GS that has philadendrom and spider plant. Cactus cuttings , a avocado plant just lost its leaves but the stem/trunk/roots seem to be alive. And a mother in Laws tongue.
As I've gotten lazier more succulents and cactus, philodendron, snake plants and now air plants in the bathroom
none to be found in my house. Anything that is considered a houseplant is relegated to the greenhouse.
Peace Lily, Christmas Cactus, Aloe Vera, Philodendron, Purple Heart, African Violets, Coffee Bean tree, a Bromiliad of some sort, a Kalanchoe, and a few Orchids I need to rehome. I am also growing some buckwheat grass and clover in a pot to bring to my grandmother for her cat to chew, since half of the plants I have were hers at one time but are poisonous to the cat.
An Amaryllis, 3 succulents planted in one container and a 45 year old Prayer plant. That's all I have the room for.
It was given to me when our oldest boy was born so it has a lot of sentimental value to me. I have come close to losing it several times. The poor thing has been frozen once, dumped out of it pot several times, nibbled on by various pets, lived in 10 different states and almost drowned by a poor draining pot. It's one tough plant.
Thank you. It is a Bowl of Beauty I planted 2 years ago. This was the first blossom and it smells so good.
My house isn't suited for houseplants... not bright enough. But I do have a stand in front of one of the kitchen windows that faces west. I have 2 Christmas Cactus, one "lucky" bamboo and some sort of corn plant.
Ooooh Beeker... I am jealous ( in a nice way). I want a coffee plant and i would like a tea plant. Can't really afford them . Most of my plants are from friends, or are rescued, or started from a slip . ,my ficus and lucky bamboo came from my sisters memorial basket My norfolk pines came from someone throwing them out after Christmas. I soaked them recently because there wrre 2 trees in 1 pot. They were starting to crowd each other. Was very successful repotting. Now i have 2! I have an oxalis that loves my house. I brought my citronella plant in a few wedls ago and it seems to be doing well in my sunny window. Had no luck rerooting cuttings of it.
