    Sherry8, those are good pics!
I would like to know the camera make and model you used for those?
It obviously is capable of very fast shutter speeds..

Henry the camera I was shooting with is a Canon EOS Rebel T4i....I don't have a very steady hand and quite a few of the pictures of hummingbirds don't turn out. But that happens even taking pictures of flowers. Most of the time I take so many pictures (not unusual to take a couple hundred a day, depending on the action and my time) and I am tired from holding the camera up... thank you

Oh that is great eye candy. I could look at those creatures all day long.

    How cute they are......

Great pictures! I really enjoyed them a lot. It also made me feel better to know that I'm not the only one that has to take many pictures just to get one that is good. :)

Sherry your photographs are really fantastic. The only time I saw Hummingbirds in the flesh was many years ago at Edinburgh Zoo. I'm so glad these beautiful little birds visit you so that you can share them with us all.

I did see 2 hummingbirds flying or chasing one another again so they haven't left our area yet...with lows in the 40's predicted, I would leave if I could...the wind seems to make it worse..

Yup Sherry our hummers are still here with the cooler temps and rain also. I haven't seen a male in over a week so I think they have left already. Those little girls better get a move on. :stew1:
