Lightning hit again.

    A lightning strike hit close by Thurs night. It took out our cable, phones, tv, 3 ground fault outlets and our garage door opener this time. Took 3 days to get someone here to fix what we could not fix. Took them 5 minutes to fix the rest. I got lots of reading done.

    I am so sorry. It's always a pain in the neck to have these things happen. At least no people were hurt.

    We are having all surge put in. Guy who wired the new bed room going to buy supplies.One guy told me $400. He :D at that $80 for parts and 1 hour job at $30 per hour.

    I hope that's the last of the lightening strikes in your area now. It may be nice to watch and photograph but when it does damage is certainly isn't nearly as entertaining.

    I like lightings as well, but only on pictures and video. They are quite fascinating and scary at the same time.

    Donna, so glad you and yours are safe! The electronics can be replaced if need be, but you can't!
