Everything continues to grow including the weeds. It was a strangely warm summer and as the fall colors arrive it continues to be a warm fall. The garden continues but I have put gardening on the back burner as I put my energies into my full time work. Today I dig up a hydrengea that is too big for my new blue berry bed and future home for another huglekultur or two. Here are a few blooms among the havoc of green, dieing plants and weeds sprouting up everywhere with the cooler evening temperatures. Still no frost, but it will probably come hard when it does arrive. Beautiful blooms and all the plants look so healthy!!! Wish mine looked have that good after the summer we had. I am hoping for Fall of any length and then WINTER. The year I grew cotton in the backyard, I was still picking ripening bolls at the end of November
I could do with some of the lovely colour you have in your garden Jewell. We've hardly anything left in flower now.
I am green with envy! Your yard is beautiful and so well established. I hope mine looks half as good as yours when it grows up.
Nice pictures Jewell. I have the same Monkshood and it is also blooming now, which is early. I also still have Phlox blooming which is very late. Strange year this year! My Hosta's look very tired.
Yep... everything still looking pretty good up there. I'm still waiting on some of my Fall bloomers to do their thing. But in the meantime, what's still out there is loving the cooler temps we've had.
Man! I wish my fall garden looks one TENTH as good as yours! There's pretty much no color left in mine...but then again, it's only the size of a pocket handkerchief lol!
