They just left Tonga and are on their way to New Zealand.
Here's some pics from "The Dragon".

I would love to see the whales in person.
The flower is beautiful, did he tell you what it is?

He was thrilled about the whales... took some videos too.
The flowers appear to be Frangipanis... the one's they make leis out of. I think I spelled it right.

Oh I'd also love to see those whales up close. They are such magnificent creatures and we humans, very rarely, get to see them except from afar.

The flower is gorgeous and I'm told they have a wonderful scent too - pity we don't have scratch and sniff on our computers.

Cheryl, send my deepest sympathies to your brothers. Having to snorkel with whales, eat roast pig, and sniff gorgeous flowers--they are two tough guys to survive all that!
I love seeing the updates and hearing about what they are doing. :-D

I wish I could be there too to experience swimming with the whales and eating that so yummy looking roast pig :)

How wonderful for them and so exciting too. I am not comfortable in the ocean though I love to be on it or by it. Being a weak link in the food chain just isn't appealing.

Yep... they have it so rough! :stew2:
(well... actually they do sometimes especially on those long sails between islands)

I to love the whale pic's. What a blessing to be able to travel like that. Especially with the weather we are having right now. Calgon--take me away to Tonga. :stew1:
