Have you considered renting Mark out? I bet there's lots of ladies who would pay hard cash for some of his baking! Those shortbreads look lovely.

I am way partial to the short bread innit. The thistle patterns enhance its appearance and I may have to stuff a slice of bread in my mouth to stop drooling.

Sjoerd,I think Mark finds it relaxing to bake which was important for him when I was most in need of looking after.It wasn't an easy time for him either.
