Oh my stars, is that actually the same wall hanging basket? You really did a magnificent job in making it so attractive.

That's an amazing job Donna. It made me do a double take. Were you proficient with colouring books when you were younger? :D

Thanks all. It was fun to paint.

Frank, As long as I can use paint, I painted anything. Even coloring books.

Excellent job indeed! Really brings out the details! In fact this has just inspired me to go visit some flea markets in my own area. Maybe I too will spot something on which I can express some artiness... :D

By the way, if I was you, I'd have added some glow in the dark paint pigment into the paint. In fact you can still do it, by adding little bit of it in clear varnish.

    See some examples here:
    http://www.aliexpress.com/w/wholesale-g ... owder.html

And see this page too, so that you can make any color by mixing the basic 3 (cyan, magenta, yellow, and key)

Anyhow, I am really happy to see this - Because this is exactly what our member's gallery section is all about! So thanks for sharing. :)

You not only did a great job of painting, you had the eye to know what it could be when you first saw it! The combination of colors are perfect.

    Very pretty
    I love paint.
It is a gift to be able to see beauty potential in something not so beautiful.
